Eligible British Shutters products are covered by our 10 Year Warranty from the date your order is delivered.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and eligible workmanship issues under normal domestic use.
It does not replace your statutory rights.
Your warranty starts from the date your shutters are delivered.
For orders measured and installed by British Shutters, the warranty still starts from the delivery date, but our workmanship cover applies once installation has been completed by our team.
Please keep your order confirmation or invoice as proof of purchase.
The warranty covers eligible manufacturing faults with the shutters themselves.
However, it does not cover problems caused by incorrect DIY installation, incorrect fixing, damage during fitting, poor alignment, unsuitable fixings, or installation into an unsuitable surface.
For supply-only orders, the customer is responsible for measuring and installing the shutters correctly.
No. The warranty applies to the original customer who purchased the shutters from British Shutters.
It is not transferable to a new homeowner, tenant, landlord, buyer or third party unless we agree otherwise in writing.
No. Your warranty is in addition to your statutory rights.
Nothing in our warranty limits your rights if goods are faulty, damaged, not as described, or not supplied with reasonable care and skill.
The warranty gives you additional peace of mind, but your legal consumer rights remain unaffected.
